“The decision last autumn to close our two outdoor pools and lower the pool water temperature was certainly not an easy decision, but unfortunately unavoidable,” explain the two managing directors of MBG, Martin Siemon and Thomas Klein. “All the more reason is it now for all of us to be pleased that we will reopen the outdoor pools on March 15 and restore the pool water temperature to normal levels. Unfortunately, we also have to moderately increase the entrance fees as of March 15, since otherwise operating the pool without further restrictions would not be feasible due to the increased energy costs,” Klein and Siemon add.
„Of course, no one is thrilled about having to pay a higher admission fee in the future. But compared to other pools in the region with similar offerings and comparable quality, our new entrance prices at DAS BAD are still very affordable,“ emphasizes the management. „The rates at comparable pools in Saarland are significantly higher. „Furthermore, many other pools in Saarland have already raised their admission prices due to the significantly higher energy costs,“ Siemon and Klein point out.
