Then join our meeting! Let’s talk together about gender issues and norms through conferences, encounters and discussions, workshops, and intercultural activities.

You must be between 18 and 23 years old and live in Saarlouis to participate in the German-French exchange on the topic of gender.

From June 22 to 25, 2023, the young German-French ambassadors are organizing a meeting in Nantes as part of International Women's Day – through discussions, workshops, and intercultural activities we will collectively reflect on gender issues. During these days, you will be with a bilingual group and together explore the various facets of this diverse topic. Travel expenses, accommodation, and meals will be covered by the DFJW.

Ideally, you already have sufficient knowledge of French, as this makes communication with the other participants easier. Nevertheless, you will be supported throughout the entire project by a bilingual team.

You have until April 16, 2023 to apply by following this link:   https://forms.gle/TB9iRSbiP47Emokh9

The exchange is organized by the young ambassadors of the cities Saarlouis, Saarbrücken, and Nantes, in cooperation with the association Centre culturel franco-allemand in Nantes. The cities of Nantes and Saarbrücken as well as the DFJW (Franco-German Youth Office) support the project on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Élysée Treaty.
