Under the motto "A Journey Through the Classics," pianist Karin Olivieri will perform works by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, Schumann, Schubert, and Liszt, and present her book with CD "Tone by Tone – in the Light."
Edmund Becker and Silvia Bock will guide the evening with short texts and poems.
The event will take place in the historic ceremonial rooms of Münchweiler Castle. Built in 1752, the Baroque castle is considered one of the most significant in the entire southwest and is a monument of national importance. At the benefit event, guests have the opportunity to enjoy the concert in the ceremonial rooms, which are usually not accessible to the public. Champagne, homemade cake, and coffee will be provided for refreshment.
This charity event benefits the aid project "Children in Armonia": This project aims to provide children from the Mar del Plata region (Buenos Aires, Argentina), who have no chance of adequate education and thus a dignified future due to their social background, with a realistic perspective for integration into society. The focus is on the effort to develop and promote the children's self-esteem and self-confidence through music.
In Argentina, they say: "Don't give the poor fish, but teach them to fish." Here in Germany, one would say: "Help for self-help."
The entrance fee is €25 (including a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival, coffee, and cake)
