The red bulbous nose pushes onto the face, the purple wig insists on a head. ROSE MONDAY PARADE - After-Parade Party in the Illipse – Free admission!
Illingen Giants Rose Monday
The highlight of the celebrations is the Rose Monday parade, which starts at 10:00 AM at the town hall and winds its way through Illingen to Burgpark. This year, around 80 floats and walking groups will take part. However, there is no aim to break records: "We just want to create a pleasant parade atmosphere," says Mayor Armin König. It is probably this atmosphere that attracts the revelers – especially families with children. "Our groups always put a lot of effort into designing wonderfully imaginative floats," König enthuses. The enthusiasm of the carnival participants is truly palpable. At least six musical groups will provide the acoustic accompaniment. Afterwards, with free admission, the after-parade party at the Illipse with the party band Five4Fun will let everyone celebrate into the evening.
The band Five4Fun stands for first-class music, exuberant atmosphere, and entertainment like no other. With bass, guitar, drums, keyboards, and professional vocals, Five4Fun is exactly what its name means: pure fun. The dynamic vocal duo, consisting of frontman Tom and eye-catcher Eva, provides the ultimate feast for the eyes and ears. The concert program reads like a selection from the charts of the past three decades, marked by musical highlights as well as classics from international music history. The band stays in tune with the times. The musical cocktail served to you by Five4Fun is always fresh and new.
