At the end of September 2022, officers from the narcotics unit searched the 37-year-old's apartment in the Neunkirchen district based on a search warrant. Although the resident was absent, investigators found, in addition to a large quantity of narcotics, weapons and ammunition. For this reason, the Saarbrücken District Court issued an arrest warrant for violations of the Narcotics Act as well as the War Weapons Control Act. Since the initial search was unsuccessful, officers from LPP 245 took over the search for the fugitive in November 2022.
Last Wednesday (11.01.2023), there was a major police operation at the fugitive's address after several venomous snakes escaped from and out of the apartment he no longer used. During the two-day police operation, the suspected location of the fugitive was identified through covert measures. Since it could not be ruled out that the wanted person might be armed, the arrest was carried out by the special operations unit.
The 37-year-old surrendered without resistance. The investigations are ongoing.
