To further emphasize compliance with the mask mandate in local public transport, the federal government and the states have therefore agreed on joint focus controls in public local transport.
In Saarland, these focus checks will be carried out on November 9th and 10th. Prevention teams from the police authorities and control personnel from transport companies will be on the move and will check compliance with the mask requirement on trains and buses on both days. After the day of action, the state police will compile and evaluate all results. Further days of action are planned for December 14th and 15th of this year.
