On Tuesday, 01/11/2022, around 12:40 a.m., a road user noticed a fallen cyclist lying at the edge of the road next to his bicycle on Urweilerstraße. The cyclist, a 29-year-old man from St. Wendel, had sustained multiple injuries. The police also found that the cyclist was intoxicated. Due to his injuries, he had to be taken to a hospital. According to initial accident investigations on site, it is assumed to be a single-vehicle accident. Further police measures were initiated because of the detected intoxication. The St. Wendel police are seeking witnesses who can provide additional information about the traffic accident.
