The council members adopted the following resolutions:
Green light for "Campus South"
On the former company premises of "Präzisionstechnik Neumann," a
central innovation location ("Campus South") with uses in services, not
disruptive industry and residential areas are to be developed. The future campus serves as an extension of the CISPA Innovation Campus "Alte Schmelz". New jobs and housing are to be created on the site in the near future.
Resolution to Establish the Development Plan for the Kindergarten "Im Stegbruch"
The city council approved the development of a zoning plan for a new kindergarten in the Rohrbach district. The kindergarten is to be built on properties in Im Stegbruch.
Concept awards for residential space SAM-works and TG-hall area
Additional living space is being created in the district of Rohrbach. The council approved the plans of private investors who want to develop the site of the former SAM factory and TG hall.
Renovation of the Fire Station St. Ingbert-Mitte
St. Ingbert continues to invest in security infrastructure and is modernizing the St. Ingbert-Mitte fire station in several stages. After equipping it with an emergency power system, a new ventilation system will be installed in the next step.
Project "Old Cotton Mill"
The city council has awarded additional planning contracts for the Baumwollspinnerei project. Contracts for the conversion and renovation are being granted to architects, planners for technical building equipment, and open space planners. The planning team is now complete and can begin the conversion planning.
Floodlight systems of the sports fields are being converted to LED
All floodlight systems at the St. Ingbert sports fields are to be converted to LED technology. The city council approved a grant for the conversion.
