Dillingen/Saarbrücken. On the night of Friday, October 7, 2022, around 12:30 a.m., the State Police Headquarters received a report about a possible homicide in Hüttenwerkstraße, Dillingen. A 39-year-old woman is said to have killed a 45-year-old man. The police were able to arrest the woman at the scene without resistance.
According to the current state of investigations, the 39-year-old suspect Elena and her acquaintance Robert M. spent Thursday evening (October 6, 2022) together in the apartment of the suspect's father. During the evening, for reasons yet unclear, a dispute arose during which the homeless 45-year-old Robert M. died. The suspect's father found the 45-year-old man bleeding heavily next to the suspect in his living room. Resuscitation efforts by the alerted emergency services were unsuccessful. It is currently assumed that the 39-year-old killed the man. The motive is still unclear. The suspect surrendered without resistance to the officers of the Saarlouis Police Department. According to ZBS information, the father had briefly left his apartment. When he returned from the laundry room, the property owner heard screams and reportedly found the 39-year-old victim with a stab wound in the abdominal area. His daughter was said to have been holding a knife sheath at that time. The man was still alive until the arrival of the emergency services. The perpetrator has also reportedly been known multiple times for drugs and alcohol use.
The department for crimes against life has initiated the investigation. The victim's body was autopsied on Friday. The autopsy revealed that the man had been injured with a knife in the chest area through multiple stab wounds. The cause of death was bleeding out. The suspect was presented to a detention judge at the Saarbrücken District Court. The judge issued an arrest warrant against the 39-year-old suspect for manslaughter. She was taken to the Zweibrücken correctional facility, where she is now awaiting her trial.
