Singer/songwriter Manuel Sattler presented his eponymous new album in his hometown in an exclusive "CD release concert." For the exceptional artist and his band, "Toptourist" is now their fifth album. Almost 100 fans and friends were there, celebrating the band, the music, but especially Sattler's subtle lyrics. In the title track, the Quierschieder ironically mocks what a globetrotter does for the climate and peace. The other eleven songs, sung in "almost accent-free Saarbrücken dialect" or "almost accent-free High German," deal with some of the important issues of our time: love, death, and Tinder dates.
Those who missed Manuel Sattler at Q.lisse have another chance to see "Sattler live" on September 29th at "Breite 63" in Saarbrücken or on October 11th at the Kirkel Education Center.
