The Homburg Youth Council invites all youth organizations and clubs with youth groups from Homburg and the surrounding area to a meeting entitled “Meet & Greet.” Since the Youth Council’s task is to represent the adolescents and young adults in Homburg to the city politics, the aim of the event is to gather suggestions, wishes, and expectations for the Youth Council from the volunteers and full-time staff of the youth organizations active in Homburg and the surrounding area. This is how the Youth Council expresses it in its invitation.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 8, 2022, from 4 p.m. at the Siebenpfeifferhaus on Kirchenstraße 8 in Homburg. The youth advisory council, which was founded this year, hopes for lively exchanges with the representatives of clubs and organizations. At a round table, the challenges of the respective organizations as well as the associated wishes and expectations for the youth advisory council should be discussed so that they can be taken into account in the further work of the youth advisory council.
At the meeting, the members of the youth council will first introduce themselves, before engaging in discussions with the clubs in smaller groups. Additionally, the event can also be used for the clubs and organizations to network with each other.
Food and drinks will be provided. Therefore, for planning purposes, participants are asked to register with the number of representatives attending the event.
