On 09/19/2022 at around 7:55 PM, an 11-year-old girl was approached on her way home by an unknown male individual from a car. This was reported to the St. Ingbert police in the evening by the child’s parents. The incident took place in the intersection area of Südstraße/Tulpenstraße in 66386 St. Ingbert. The 11-year-old girl was walking along Südstraße, coming from Oststraße, heading towards Ensheimer Straße. After the male car driver, driving a gray high-roof station wagon, passed the girl going in the same direction, he turned right onto Tulpenstraße, made a U-turn there, and positioned himself at the Tulpenstraße/Südstraße intersection. The girl passed the rear of the car before being spoken to from the passenger door. The male driver first asked her for her home address. Thinking quickly, the young girl gave a false address. She was then asked whether she would prefer to walk or be driven home by him. She declined and quickly walked home. The person was approximately 50-60 years old and appeared to be German. He also wore glasses, had a bald head with a hair wreath, and had a small black dog with him, presumably a Yorkshire Terrier. On the right front fender, there was a cow sticker on the car. The male driver eventually drove back along Südstraße towards Oststraße. Witnesses who can provide useful information about the described driver are asked to contact the St. Ingbert police (Tel: 06894/1090) or any other police station.
