On 18.09.2022 at around 5:35 p.m., a traffic accident occurred at the intersection "Saarbrücker Straße / Alte Schmelz" in 66386 St. Ingbert-Mitte involving a cyclist and a car. According to current information, the car driver overlooked the cyclist coming from the right, who was riding on the sidewalk, when entering Saarbrücker Straße. As a result, the cyclist was hit but not injured. Subsequently, the cyclist left the scene heading towards the city center. The car sustained damage to the front area. According to the car driver, the cyclist was about 45-50 years old and wore a black jacket. He also did not wear a helmet and was riding a black or gray mountain bike.
