„The cry for help from the Saarland hospital operators must be taken seriously, but the money must not now be simply distributed with a watering can!“ This is the opinion of the deputy chairman of the FDP Saar, Dr. Helmut Isringhaus.
„The financial distress of hospitals in Saarland is only partly due to the current energy crisis. If the hospital locations had previously been better funded for innovations, they would now be in a better structural and energetic condition.“ Isringhaus is also convinced that the state government is driving health policy into a dead end if it adheres to the current hospital plan and does not revise it as soon as possible. „Instead of promoting outpatient care centers, there is a risk that money will flow into hospital constructions planned in the past that are no longer needed at all,“ criticizes the FDP politician. He calls on Minister Jung to „immediately review all construction projects and work with the operators to find better solutions. The right investments must then also be fully borne by the state so that hospital operators are not once again driven into the next underfunding.“
