Meeting point and start for this hike at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 1st, is the Wildpark-Alm inn at the Wild and Hiking Park Weiskirchen.
The hike starts at 1:30 PM at the Wildpark-Alm and initially takes us for a short distance through the Wild- and Hiking Park Weiskirchen before we turn right towards Rappweiler. After crossing the main road, we hike through the Wiesental to Waldhölzbach. On a section of the Saarland Circular Trail, we continue towards Scheiden and the stage destination of this hike, the Bärenfelsen. Attention: On this section, we walk for a short distance along the Waldhölzbach / Scheiden main road. A rustic rest area is set up a little above the Bärenfelsen. Here we can refresh ourselves with the chilled drinks available on site. Freshly energized, we hike back along the border path to the Kneipp facility in the Hölzbachtal, where we return to the starting point via the Two-Valleys Trail. Depending on the weather conditions, the route length may be adjusted.
Good footwear, suitable clothing, enough drinks, and sufficient stamina are required. Josef as well as Hochwald-Touristik cordially invite you! The hike, approx. 12.3 km, will be guided by our hiking leader Josef. The participation fee is €3.50.
