BAB 62 direction Landstuhl, near Sötern (police report)
On Thursday, 15.09.2022, there was a traffic accident on the BAB 62, direction Landstuhl, approximately 1000 meters before the Sötern rest area. A 25-year-old man from Freisen collided with the right guardrail with his Toyota Aygo after being overtaken by a dark BMW (further details unknown so far). During the overtaking maneuver, the BMW driver merged too early to the right and cut off the Toyota Aygo driver, forcing him to swerve to the right. The BMW driver then unlawfully left the scene of the accident.
Witnesses of the traffic accident are requested to contact the Nordsaarland police station.
