As per tradition, the popular flea market also takes place as part of the Merzig Oktoberfest week. On Monday and Tuesday (September 26 and 27, 2022), visitors can look forward to a market with a special atmosphere in the Merzig city center from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Traders from near and far will set up their stalls on these two days and offer not only all kinds of delights but also items for everyday needs. For example, textiles, household goods, cosmetics, wooden products, watches, and jewelry will be available for sale.
There will be a change this year, however. The street "Zur Stadthalle" will no longer be available to the flea market operators for the first time. This allows the main road in the immediate vicinity of the Merzig town hall to be used by traffic participants, so there will be no road closures. However, a 20 km/h zone will be established in the area of the town hall due to the Merzig Oktoberfest.
The stalls of the Krammarkt vendors, all located in the Merzig pedestrian zone, look forward to your visit.
