The opening takes place on Saturday evening at 6:30 PM in the dome hall of the town hall. The musical accompaniment is provided by the Hochscheid-Reichenbrunn Music Association. After the tapping of the keg and the traditional "Kerweredd," a giant fireworks display will begin at nightfall.
During the fair days, around 60 showmen offer their extensive range. Rides spin, many stalls invite you to browse, and the air is filled with the aromas of various delicacies. In addition to numerous children's carousels, there are other attractions: the Grand Soleil Ferris wheel, two bumper cars, XXL Polyp, Miami, Tropical Trip, Chaos, Telstar, and Music Express. There are many more rides and stalls for young and old. Celebrations take place in the squares around the town hall. Tuesday, October 11, is traditionally Family Day with discounted ride prices.
"Kerwemarkt" in the pedestrian zone
On Sundays and Mondays, the "Kerwemarkt" takes place in the pedestrian zone and on Kaiserstraße. In addition to textiles of all kinds, household and gift items, personal care and cleaning products, leather goods, jewelry, as well as steel goods are offered for sale. Around 50 vendors have confirmed their participation and are looking forward to numerous visitors.
From Friday, October 14th, to Sunday, October 16th, the rides and stalls will be open again. The post-fair event on the marketplace will be celebrated with around 30 showmen for visitors of all ages.
