The Camino de Santiago remains a challenge even in the 21st century, although it is walked by thousands of pilgrims every year. Journalist and musician Michael Engel has also conquered the Camino Francés. On his journey, which begins in the Pyrenees and ends 800 kilometers later in Santiago de Compostela, he meets many like-minded people from all over the world and lets us experience his experiences and memories up close in his book. Visitors can expect a personal evening filled with big and small stories from a moving journey. We get to know people who walk the path for a variety of reasons. All share one thought: The journey is the destination! With great joy, he takes us on a musical journey around the world. Because alongside the book and photos of the route, Michael Engel also brings a musical companion with him. Every day, every stage is enriched by a very special piece of music. Dirk Nelly Brill from Zweibrücken accompanies us through the evening with his acoustic guitar and interprets various songs from the 'Camino Playlist.'
