After burglars had to abandon their crime last night (11/12 September 2022) due to the resistance of the apartment owner, the police are relying on the help of the public.
Around 2:15 AM this Monday, two unknown men broke into the apartment located on Hochwaldstraße in the Saarbrücken Rastpfuhl area. While the suspects were searching the apartment on the first floor, they encountered the 90-year-old woman. A physical altercation ensued between the suspects and the elderly woman, who fought back fiercely and called for help.
The burglars, who according to current knowledge were also injured, ceased their attack on the victim and fled - presumably without loot - in an unknown direction. The seriously injured victim sought safety with neighbors and is currently being treated in a hospital.
