On Sunday, September 25, 2022, the traditional Harvest Festival will be celebrated for the 64th time in Schwarzenholz with a grand parade. This traditional festival is organized by the Schwarzenholz Farmers' Association in cooperation with the Volunteer Fire Department LBZ Schwarzenholz.
So that the parade after a two-year forced break becomes the highlight of the Thanksgiving celebrations again, the organizers ask all clubs, schools, and kindergartens, as well as all interested parties, to participate in this parade with floats or walking groups. It would be a special pleasure to welcome participants from the districts of Saarwellingen and Reisbach. Participants from other localities are also warmly invited. Traditional honorary prizes will be awarded by an independent jury for the most beautiful walking groups or decorative floats. In addition, a farmers' market will take place again at the festival grounds in Schwarzenholz, where high-quality organic food and great handicrafts will be offered.
