There was a traffic accident involving an injured cyclist last night on Gerhardstraße. After the 61-year-old rode his bicycle down the sloping Gerhardstraße towards the city, he fell due to being under the influence of alcohol (1.9 per mille) and injured his pelvic area. The man was taken to the Knappschaft Clinic Püttlingen. He now faces criminal proceedings for driving under the influence.
