Bicycle parking facilities on Brunnenstraße
For the family and children's festival taking place in Homburg on Saturday, September 3, 2022, the organizers have designed a dedicated parking guidance system. Numerous signs will be installed to direct visitors arriving by car towards Mainzer Straße or Richard-Wagner-Straße/Karlsbergstraße, where larger parking areas are available at the car dealerships or on the premises of the Karlsberg Brewery. From there, the city park can be reached in a short walk.
Furthermore, it is recommended to attend the festival using public transport or by bicycle. Those who want to ride their bike to the festival grounds can use numerous bike parking facilities available at the former outdoor pool.
Since the German Youth Fire Brigade Day will also be celebrated in Homburg over the weekend and the popular flea market will take place on Saturday, the traffic safety measures for the construction work on Saarbrücker Straße will be dismantled during the course of tomorrow, Friday, to facilitate access and exit. From next Monday, the next construction phase will begin in this area.
