Homburg/Wörschweiler (ots)
On 28.08.2022, at around 3:10 p.m., a 27-year-old male motorcyclist was driving on the L 222 from Limbach/Beeden towards Wörschweiler. In the last right-hand curve, just before the entrance to Wörschweiler, an oncoming car cut the curve, forcing the motorcyclist to take evasive action. Although the two vehicles did not collide, the motorcyclist lost control of his bike during the maneuver and was thrown over the handlebars.
The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was taken to the emergency room of the University Hospital Homburg. The motorcycle was a total economic loss.
The oncoming car, however, continued its journey undeterred in the direction of Limbach/Beeden. It is said to have been a white small van.
