The 2022 property tax reform requires new assessment bases for all economic units. This means that 36,000,000 notices with the new assessment bases must be issued. The deadline for submitting declarations to determine the property tax value is already October 31, 2022. Until now, an estimated 10% of the declarations have been submitted to the tax authorities. Many people are overwhelmed by the electronically transmitted declaration, with older people in particular facing a great challenge.
The informational event aims to enable every citizen to submit the property tax declaration independently. To this end, after the lecture, a fictitious property tax declaration will be explained together with the attendees as an example using the portal "Property Tax Declaration for Private Property".
The speakers are Christoph Görgen and Sven Braun from Braun & Braun PartGmbB Steuerberatungsgesellschaft in Völklingen. The lecture provides general information; tax advice cannot be given as part of the event.
