On Wednesday, 24.08.2022, around lunchtime, a hit-and-run occurred in the parking lot of the EDEKA supermarket in Saarlouis on Metzer Street. An as yet unidentified driver damaged the left rear of the car belonging to a 36-year-old man from Saarlouis, presumably while maneuvering, between 12:45 PM and 2:20 PM. The damaged vehicle was a silver BMW (3 Series). Despite the high number of people in the parking lot, the perpetrator fled the scene without permission following the collision. Witnesses who observed the accident and can provide information about the perpetrator are asked to contact the Saarlouis police at the telephone number 06831 - 9010.
