Do you want to know which wild herbs are edible and which are not? How the herbs can be used and how to safely identify them? Then join the herb excursion. On Saturday, August 27, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Hochwald Touristik – Municipality of Weiskirchen, in cooperation with the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park, offers a wild herb excursion. The meeting point is the Wild- und Wanderpark Weiskirchen in front of the Wildpark-Alm. During this approximately 2-hour hike, we will discover local wild herbs together with herb expert Yasemin Bier.
Before summer says goodbye, now is the right time to gather herbs for the winter. Nature still offers the full range, so head out into the forest and meadows. The relevant wild herbs will not only be discussed, but there will also be tips on collecting, storing, and processing them. Interested in the treasures from nature?
