The city of Homburg offers another PC course at Treffpunkt Krea(k)tiv in the Hohenburgschule. The group, led by Axel Wagner, meets regularly in the former teachers' lounge of the Hohenburgschule (ground floor) at Schulstraße 20.
The free course starts on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Further sessions will be held every Tuesday until probably January 2023.
The current corona regulations of the city of Homburg must be observed.
This event series assumes that participants already have basic knowledge of operating and handling the existing PC operating system. This also includes knowledge of how to use a file manager and an internet browser. The course focuses on the areas of internet, security, and sensible protective measures. Therefore, the course is not suitable for absolute beginners.
The browser used is Mozilla Firefox. Participants are welcome to bring their own laptops to the event. Tablets or smartphones are not suitable. The course topics include internet searching (search engine), internet & security, security & software, as well as the possibilities of a digital legacy.
