Saarbrücken Wing on the Castle Square for Several Weeks
The Saarbrücken grand pianos are now on display for several weeks at Schlossplatz Saarbrücken. The pair of grand pianos was created by Jochen Maas and is part of the tourism campaign Visit Saarbrücken. The installation is equipped with energy-saving LED technology, making it a special photo attraction in front of Saarbrücken Castle even in the evening hours.
How do you capture the perfect snapshot? Simply stand between the wings, align your smartphone or camera, take the photo, and easily share it on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #visitsaarbruecken. This way, the pictures along with Saarbrücken's landmarks are shared worldwide. On Instagram, numerous atmospheric photos featuring the Saarbrücken wings can already be seen under #visitsaarbruecken.
The #visitsaarbrücken campaign is one of the key projects of the joint tourism strategy of the region and the state capital Saarbrücken. The Saarbrücken wings are moving to selected attractive sights in the region to showcase them. Previously, they could be found at the Saarbrücken Staden, on the Göttelborn spoil tip, in front of the State Theatre, and in front of Ludwig Church.
