From August 12th to 14th, the Hangarder Village Festival took place for the 31st time at Pirmin-Raber-Platz. Numerous Hangard clubs offered visitors a wide variety of specialties. It all started on Friday at 6 PM with an ecumenical church service. Afterwards, the village festival was officially opened with the traditional tapping of the keg by the President of the State Parliament, Heike Becker. The opening was musically accompanied by the Hangard Music Friends association. From 8 PM, the Hofgassler then fired up the audience with their music.
The annual children's flea market on Saturday was not to be missed again this year. In the evening, the band Take Five took the stage. On the last day of the festival, the Hangard music friends invited everyone to a morning concert. The children's flea market also continued on Sunday. The village festival committee received positive feedback over the three days.
