Last Monday, the 4th driving safety training for e-bike riders took place in the parking lot behind the town hall in Kleinblittersdorf.
The two police commissioners, Mr. Gusenburger and Mr. Steinbrecher from the State Police Directorate LPP 131 (mobile youth traffic school/traffic prevention/traffic safety consulting), took over the course management. Among the participants were beginner and advanced e-bike riders, all of whom benefited from the course. Cycling with electric assistance is gaining more and more followers, and especially since the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of e-bikes sold has increased. Unfortunately, the number of injured and even fatally injured persons is also rising in contrast. For this reason and due to increased demand, further traffic safety trainings are being considered to be conducted in our community of Kleinblittersdorf. Participation is free of charge and at one's own risk – participants only need to bring their own e-bike and a helmet. As with the previously conducted traffic safety trainings, the number of participants will be limited and registration is required. The date will be announced again in a timely manner in the Kleinblittersdorf News.
