210 new confirmed Corona cases – incidence falls below 350The health department of the Regional Association reports 210 new Corona cases today (as of August 10, 4 p.m.). The number of new reported cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last seven days thus continues to decrease to 347.2 according to internal calculations.
7-day total of new infections by cities and municipalitiesIn the past seven days, 1,137 people in the regional association have been infected with the coronavirus. Of these, 621 live in Saarbrücken, 122 in Völklingen, 67 in Sulzbach, 58 in Riegelsberg, 56 in Püttlingen, 52 in Kleinblittersdorf, 50 in Friedrichsthal, 45 in Quierschied, 41 in Heusweiler, and 25 in Großrosseln.
Corona case numbers since the beginning of the pandemic
In total, the regional association has 124,598 confirmed cases that have tested positive since the beginning of the pandemic. Of these, 67,705 are in the state capital and 56,893 in the nine towns and municipalities in the surrounding area.
