By collecting paper and cardboard, the city can reduce the general waste fees for residents. Why? Because paper and cardboard are valuable materials that can be sold and recycled. The revenue from these sales helps the waste management company St. Ingbert (ABBS) cover part of the required waste fees. Every paper bin that becomes worthless due to incorrect waste increases the costs for all residents.
The collected paper is a valuable commodity, but it can only be sold if it meets the required quality. Therefore, it is very important that only paper and cardboard are placed in the blue paper bin. For this reason, paper bins that obviously contain other waste are left behind by the waste collection service, as they cause additional costs for all citizens.
Therefore, the ABBS urgently appeals to the citizens: "Please dispose of only paper and cardboard in the paper bin!"
