Course offerings of the Women's Office of the Saarpfalz District
The Women's Office of the Saarpfalz district is offering drumming courses for beginners and advanced players again. The next courses will take place starting Monday, September 12, and on nine additional Mondays from 5:30 to 6:30 pm (advanced) and 6:45 to 7:45 pm (beginners). The venue is ASV Kleinottweiler, Schwannstraße 14, 66450 Bexbach-Kleinottweiler. The course instructor is rhythm educator Nicole Schweitzer.
Both courses focus—depending on the level—on simple or more complex rhythms from Africa & Brazil, played together in a group. Through rhythm games, body percussion, voice, and movement, new arrangements are learned and playing techniques are practiced. Beginners, including all those who have never learned or played an instrument before, are very welcome in the beginner’s course.
