The FDP advocates for the introduction of a Social Media Pass modeled after Bavaria. This is to be obtained in grades 7-9. "With the pass, students should be prepared for the challenges of the digital world," said Deputy State Chairman Marcel Mucker. "In particular, we want to train skills in the areas of data protection as well as dealing with dangers and fake news."
The pass is intended to motivate students on the one hand to engage with the topics, while on the other hand ensuring that all students in Saarland are reached.
