Neunkirchen, Ritzwiesstraße (ots)
On the morning of July 31, 2022, three rioting individuals are reported to the Neunkirchen Police Department on Ritzwiesstraße in Neunkirchen. The individuals kick parked vehicles, throw objects around, and run around shouting loudly.

Apparently, the individuals are clearly under the influence of alcohol and other intoxicating substances.
The location is visited by two units from the Neunkirchen Police Department. The three rioting male individuals can be encountered by the officers on site and are to be subjected to a check. The men react immediately with high aggression. One of the three attempts to flee the location without his identity being established. He is immediately apprehended by the deployed officers but resists, requiring him to be brought to the ground, restrained, and arrested there. The other two men then try to free their companion and attack the officers. In the process, the officers are spat on, kicked, and struck.

Ultimately, these two men can also be brought under control and arrested by two additional support units called in.

The individuals are being taken to the Neunkirchen police station.

All three individuals are subjected to a blood sample by court order and are also taken into custody at the Neunkirchen Police Station for sobering up.

During the operation, 9 of the officers involved sustained minor injuries but were able to continue their duties. Corresponding criminal proceedings have been initiated against the three individuals.
