Important information:
When transmitting cases from the health authorities through the responsible state authorities to the RKI, there is a reporting and transmission delay of a few days, both for the raw case numbers and the 7-day incidences. The discrepancies also arise due to different collection times as well as various transmission routes. COVID-19 cases that meet the RKI case definition must be electronically reported by the responsible health authority to the responsible state authority by the next working day at the latest, and by the state competence center for infection epidemiology (LKI) anonymized to the RKI by the next working day at the latest.
The basis for the case numbers of the RKI are the reports from the health authorities up to midnight of the previous day. The basis for the case numbers of the MASFG are the reports up to 4 PM of the previous day. All transmitted numbers represent current and preliminary data. Changes are reserved.
