Saarbrücken. On Sunday evening, July 24, 2022, a fire broke out in a hall of a car workshop on Metzer Street. According to the incident commander, a car caught fire in the hall. The fire was quickly brought under control. The cause of the fire is currently still unclear.
With several breathing apparatus teams, the fire was quickly located and brought under control. The police have begun investigations into the cause of the fire.
The fire departments from Saarbrücken and neighboring France were deployed with around 80 personnel.
