Meeting point and start of the hike is on Saturday, 06.08.2022, at 1:30 PM at the Wildpark-Alm Weiskirchen. First, we pass through the wildlife park towards the bison enclosure. We hike along parts of the Zwei-Täler-Weg towards Waldhölzbach. However, we do not take the direct descent to the Felsenweg but continue until we reach
a small forest pond fed by the Hölzbach. Then we proceed in a large loop around Waldhölzbach and later pass by the outskirts of Zwalbach back to the wildlife park. Depending on the weather and fitness level, we can adjust the length of the hike.
Josef and Hochwald Tourism warmly invite you to this special hiking experience. Please wear sturdy shoes or hiking boots, bring good fitness, and remember to take enough drinks. The hike is approximately 11.3 km – 13.3 km and is considered moderate. About 400 meters of elevation gain and loss must be managed. The cost of the hike is €3.50.
