From May 15 to June 4, 2022, the "Stadtradeln" campaign took place again in Homburg. The residents of Homburg once again achieved numerous good results, both in terms of the number of participants as well as the kilometers cycled and the calculated savings in carbon dioxide.
In the seventh participation of the district town of Homburg, 25 teams with a total of 970 active cyclists took part over three weeks and rode a total of 176,938 self-recorded kilometers, which corresponds to a calculated saving of 27,248 kilograms of CO². The school cycling was again very successful in Homburg.
On the upcoming Tuesday, July 19, 2022, the awards for the particularly active cyclists and teams will take place at 4 p.m. The ceremony at the Homburg Forest Stadium will be attended by Environment Minister Petra Berg as well as Mayor Michael Forster and Deputy Christine Becker, who is responsible for the Stadtradeln campaign.
