On Saturday, July 23, 2022, the popular children's festival "Day of the Rascals and Scamps" will take place for the 23rd time in St. Ingbert. Along the festival mile between the Old Church and the end of the pedestrian zone in Ludwigstraße, various clubs, associations, and initiatives from St. Ingbert offer fun games, sports, and craft activities for children.
This year, 23 clubs, associations, and organizations have registered to participate in the stage program and with action booths.
In addition to traditional activities such as face painting for children, playing, sports, and crafting, there are also water games, information about handling food, and interesting facts about children's rights.
At 11 o'clock, the Day of the Rascals and Scamps will be officially opened on the stage at Engelbertskirche, accompanied by dance and song performances by children from various St. Ingbert daycares.
At the city administration's information booth, there is a route card that allows kids to collect stamps at the 19 different stations. Once the fields on the card are stamped, there is a small souvenir gift.
The highlight at 3 p.m. is the magic show by magician Robin Gaube, sponsored by the St. Ingbert Local History and Transport Association.
To conclude, clubs from St. Ingbert perform and showcase their skills.
