The courses are suitable for refreshing, deepening, and expanding existing German skills and align with the competency levels of the Common European Reference Framework for Languages. 'Good German skills are essential in many areas of daily life and in the workplace.' So said Regionalverband Director Peter Gillo.
The classes take place Mondays through Thursdays starting at 9 am at the Old Town Hall on Saarbrücken's Schlossplatz. The daily instruction time includes five hours of 45-minute lessons and a half-hour break. Required textbooks will be announced at the start of the course.
Participants who wish to take an exam can sign up separately with VHS. In addition, the VHS is offering follow-up courses for the current summer courses in the upcoming semester.
Registration for the courses is now open. Further information about the German language courses offered by VHS can be found at www.vhs-saarbruecken, via email at vhs-integration@rvsbr.de, or by phone at 0681 506 -4351, -4360, or -4361.
