Great progress is being made in expanding daycare places in the municipality of Eppelborn. After eleven daycare and 25 kindergarten places were created in Dirmingen in 2021, another eleven new daycare places have now been put into operation at the Montessori Children's House in Humes.
Eppelborn's mayor Andreas Feld, together with the responsible department head Heiko Girnus, visited the new premises on the occasion of the opening of the daycare group at the Montessori Children's House and had the concept and structural changes explained by the educational director, Nicole Hirschauer-Ost, as well as by Jeannette Rester, chairwoman of the Montessori-Nord-Saar e.V. sponsoring association.
The new rooms are bright and welcoming, with warm colors and modern, cozy furnishings now available especially for children from Eppelborn in the daycare area.
"The creation of additional daycare places at the Montessori Children's House Humes is another important step in improving the daycare situation in the municipality of Eppelborn. The compatibility of family and work is an important criterion for young families when choosing where to live," said the mayor. Further daycare places in the Humes district will be available as part of the kindergarten new build in 2024.
Nicole Hirschauer-Ost and Jeanette Rester emphasized that they are pleased when many parents from Eppelborn take advantage of the new offer.
