Last Tuesday, German children from the European School Luxembourg visited the municipality of Ensdorf as part of a three-day "adventure hike." In the afternoon, upon arriving at the campsite in Ensdorf, they set up their tents for one night and then had a lot of fun at the municipality's outdoor swimming pool. After cooling off, the students hiked up the spoil heap and admired the view over the Saar Valley from the polygon high above. In the evening, they had a barbecue together at the campsite before the children continued the next day on a dragon boat tour on the Saar towards Beckingen. The multi-day stay in Saarland was certainly a great experience for the children, one they will remember fondly for a long time.
