Due to Corona, no fair could take place in Friedrichsthal in the past two years. All the more, Deputy Mayor Harald Hauch was pleased to be able to reopen the Schäferkirmes at the Bildstocker marketplace this year on behalf of Mayor Jung.
With the traditional cannon shots and a keg of beer donated by the mayor, ideal conditions for the fair's opening celebration were created.
Harald Hauch noted in his speech that the Schäferkirmes has existed for many decades and must be preserved for future generations as well.
The deputy wished all visitors, as well as the operators of rides and fair stalls, a few pleasant and harmonious days in Bildstock despite the currently tense situations everywhere.
