The summer holiday program of the city of Püttlingen, which is being offered for the 34th time this year from July 23 to September 4, 2022, is prepared and will be presented to children and young people in schools and daycare centers in the coming days. For the first time in the history of the summer holiday program, the city of Püttlingen is taking a new approach. This year, the summer holiday magazine will not be published as a glossy magazine. Mayor Denise Klein decided to save resources. "My goal is to become more sustainable and climate-friendly. This decision was made to publish the summer holiday program in a contemporary way, as around 1,400 copies with 28 pages each have been published annually as glossy brochures, which are no longer needed after the holidays. Today, parents and children are digitally active, and for those without internet access, the Cultural Office will print the brochure in black and white upon request," said Denise Klein. For a fresh start after the Corona pandemic, the summer holiday program offers around 50 events and promises to provide children and young people who are spending their summer holidays at home with a varied time. Thanks to the clubs, the Püttlingen Alliance for Families, the children and youth representatives, the Püttlingen music school, and local businesses in the city, a great program has been put together from the areas of sports, creativity, music, nature, and more. The "Junge vhs" is also represented with program contributions.
The city of Püttlingen and the children and youth commissioner are pleased that the following clubs, institutions, and companies are participating in the summer holiday program with around 50 events:
BUND regional group Köllertal, the Püttlingen Alliance for Families, the German Red Cross local association Püttlingen,
