In general: The risk of forest fires increases with high temperatures and dryness.
In such cases, the correct behavior of forest visitors is especially important.
A large proportion of forest fires in Germany are caused by negligence or intent. According to Allianz insurance, only around five percent of forest fires have a natural cause.
Therefore, please especially observe the following rules in the forest, as well as in meadows and fields, during times of increased forest fire risk:
