On Friday evening at 8:10 PM, a robbery occurred at the betting office on Hauptstraße in Lauterbach, near the French border. The unknown perpetrator entered the premises, threatened the employee present with an unidentified firearm, and demanded the surrender of the safe's contents, the petty cash, and the cash reserves. The employee was forced by the perpetrator into the safe room and, after handing over the cash, was ordered to lie on the floor. The perpetrator then fled the scene.
The perpetrator is described as male, approximately 175 cm tall. He carried a white bag and spoke with a French dialect.
