On 07/02/2022, officers from the Nordsaarland police station were called to Konfelder Straße in Wadern-Morscholz at around 2:20 p.m. The 33-year-old tenant of the apartment had just discovered upon her return that apparently someone had unlawfully entered her apartment during the previous day and stolen 16 bottles of beer from the refrigerator. One of the bottles apparently broke, as the kitchen floor was sticky and smelled of beer. However, no broken glass or used paper towel remnants could be found in the household waste or elsewhere. The informant stated that she had locked her apartment before leaving. The door was still or again locked upon her return. The only known keys are with her and her landlord. No other key holders are known. No signs of forced entry or break-in could be detected on the door or windows. The investigation has been initiated and is ongoing.
