Treat yourself to a break and be "On the Move" at the Kulturbahnhof Bexbach.
The city of Bexbach cordially invites you to the opening of the art exhibition titled "On the Move" by Helga Stein on July 8, 2022, at 5:00 PM.
Helga Stein was born in 1959 in Idar-Oberstein. She is married, a mother of 3 children, and still lives in her hometown. As a child, she came into contact with art through her grandmother and aunt, both of whom were also artistically active. Through painting trips together, she was able to find and further develop her own style.
In all phases of life, she has been artistically active, with painting always taking center stage. In 2008, Helga Stein began professional, comprehensive training at the Illingen Art School with the artist Marliese Jung-Dörr. She has accompanied her artistic development to this day.
Helga Stein has continually pursued artistic education and development in recent years. In doing so, she has repeatedly attended courses and seminars with various artists and discovered new areas for herself, such as urban sketching.
The entire range of her work includes, besides landscapes, buildings, and motorsport motifs, also portraits. These are often created as commissioned works.
Since 2017, she has always taken a sketchbook with her on her travels. In it, sketches are created, quickly drawn and watercolored on site. This way, small painted travel diaries are created as memories and possibly as templates for later paintings in her studio at home. A selection of these small works of art can also be seen as a PowerPoint presentation as part of the exhibition.
The exhibition opening is on July 8, 2022, at 5:00 PM. The exhibition runs daily from July 9 to July 17, 2022, each day from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The artist herself will be present on July 8, 14, and 17, 2022. Admission is free.
